2013 Scholar Athlete Awards

North Region:
Brady Orem, Franklin Indians
A two time All-County selection and second team All-Metro, this team captain ranks near the top of his class and is a member of the National and Math Honor Societies. Selected to play in the Crab Bowl All-Star game, he also is on the Indoor and Outdoor Track teams and also serves on the Acadmemic Advisory Board for Baltimore County Schools.

South Region:
Adam Greene, Broadneck Bruins
Twice voted consensus All-State as the State's top kicker, this team captain was the Wendy's High School Heisman winner for Maryland. In 2012 he set the state record for field goals made. Ranking number three in his class, he is Vice Presdient of National Honor Society and also a member of the Spanish Honor Society. An AP and Carson scholar, he is a member of the school chorus, a lead actor in school plays, a school tutor and church youth group leader.

East Region:
Marc Badger, Fallston Cougars
Twice voted first team All-County and second team All-Metro, this team captain ranks in the Top 5% of his class and is a member of the National and French Honor Societies. He also plays lacrosse, is a peer tutor and is a member of the Senior Class Council.

West Region:
Blaine Price, Brunswick Railroaders
This first team All-State selection broke 4 Maryland State records as a receiver. He ranks in the Top 5% of his class and is a member of the National Honor Society. An AP scholar, he also plays basketball and baseball, is a camp counselor and is the Senior Class Treasurer.

Central Region:
Brandon Dixon, Catonsville Comets
An All Regional selection and honorable mention All-State, this captain ranks in the Top 5% of his class, is an AP Scholar and is a member of the National and Math honor societies. He scored a perfect 800 on the math portion of his SAT. He also is on the Indoor Track team, is a member of the All-County Band, and is president of the Speech and Debate Club.
